As per an exchange filing, ITC has communicated that its board is scheduled to convene in the final week of January to assess and endorse the distribution of dividends to its shareholders. A dividend is a reward that a company pays to its shareholders for their investment in the business.

ITC DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT:

As per information in an exchange filing, ITC’s board is set to convene on January 29 to review and endorse the financial results for the third quarter. Additionally, the board will deliberate on a proposal regarding dividend payment. “The company has scheduled a board of directors meeting for Monday, 29th January, 2024…,” the filing stated.

“…consider declaration of Interim Dividend for the financial year ending on 31st March, 2024,” it added.

ITC Dividend Yield:

With ITC shares currently priced at Rs 569, the dividend yield stands at 2.72 percent.

ITC DIVIDEND HISTORY:

As per information from the BSE website, ITC disbursed dividends in 2023 on three occasions — Rs 6.75 and Rs 2.75 in May, and Rs 6 in February. In 2022, ITC allocated Rs 6.25 as a dividend in May and Rs 5.25 in February. In 2021, ITC distributed dividends to its investors twice — Rs 5.75 in June and Rs 5 in February. In 2020, the company granted a dividend of Rs 10.15 per share. ITC is a member of the S&P BSE SENSEX. As of January 17, the company holds a market capitalization of Rs 5,85,293.30 crore, as indicated by the BSE website.
