Solapur Municipal Corporation:Damage of 16 Million Liters of Water | Solapur Municipal Corporation has Filed a Complaint.
Mohol: This incident occurred on the Yavat-Shevgaon National Highway near Yawal in Solapur Pune. Filing a case with Mohol Police, a hotel owner is accused of causing damage of 16 million liters of water and eight lakh rupees worth of public property by targeting the borewell pipeline for drinking water.
As per details obtained from Mohol Police, Sai Siddheshwar Hotel is implicated in the incident on the Yavat-Shevgaon National Highway near Yawal in Solapur Pune. The present proprietor of the establishment altered the course of water by redirecting it, aiming at the borewell pipeline supplying drinking water from Ujani to Solapur. This action resulted in a loss of 16 million liters of water and eight lakh rupees worth of public property.
In this case, Satish Vasantrao Ekabote, a 54-year-old Assistant Engineer in the Water Supply Department of Solapur Municipal Corporation, Solapur, has lodged a complaint with Mohol Police. An investigation is underway by Mohol Police.
